The Starfish Vocational Training Centre has become BIGGER. Construction is almost at the end and finishing job is started. It will then leave to dry for 3 months. Then we will start coloring it.

Earth Breaking Ceremony – VTC

Earth Breaking Ceremony of our Vocational Training Centre performed by Mr Abbye Deputy Counsel General @ Karachi and Mr Anser Javed Chairman Starfish Karachi on 19 March 2012.

It was really an honor to have Mr. Abbye the Deputy Counsel General of Japan, Mr. Taichi Arioka, Economic Adviser, Japan Counsel General, Karachi, and Mr. Imran Aslam Municipal Commissioner Dist West, Govt of Sindh. present.

The day started with prayer and worship. Pastor Naveed Malik shared the word of God. Several guests and friends like Zahid Farooq, David Watson, Mike Wakely, Imran Aslam and Mr. Abbye the Deputy Counsel General of Japan @ karachi spoke about the project.

Japanese grant for vocational training

KARACHI, Feb 20: The consulate of Japan signed an agreement with a non-governmental organisation on Monday to help it construct a vocational training centre in SITE.
